Biography
A lawyer, he graduated with a BCL in 1953 from McGill University. He had a career specialising in Insurance and Transportation Law, with a particular interest in Maritime Law.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCN(R) 1946. In 1946-1949 he served in HMCS Donnacona for UNTD. (CFR) He was appointed as a Sub=Lieutenant (S) RCN(R) . He was appointed as a Lieutenant (S) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 09/03/1949). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (S) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 09/12/1950). He served in HMCS Donnacona. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (S) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 09/12/1958). (He was released.)
