Biography
After his naval service he attended Queen's University, and graduated 1965. He studied medicine at UBC and graduated in 1969. He took a specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology 1969-1974. He was in private practice in West Vancouver, Clanton AL, Phoenix AZ and San Luis Obispo CA.
 
Military Service
(Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 03/09/1957). He served in HMCS Venture (Officer Training Establishment) for Training 1957. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1959). He served in RCAF Centralia for Flying Training 1959. He served in RCAF Penhold for Flying Training 1959. He served in RCAF Saskatoon for Multi-engine Training 1960. He was Awarded Wings 01/09/1960. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (Appointed 01/09/1960) (With seniority dated 01/09/1959). He served in HMCS Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron 1960. He served in HMCS Shearwater for HU-21 Squadron 1961. He served in VU-33 Squadron 1961. He served in HMCS Shearwater for HU-21 Squadron 1963.
