Biography
He was living in Montreal QC at the time of his recruitment into the navy. He served as Director General - NRC Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP) in 1991. He was the brother of B.W. Abela.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1959. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/07/1962). He served in HMCS Donnacona 1962. (He was released.)
