Biography
He was a labourer at the time of his recruitment into the navy. After his naval service he lived in Halifax NS Canada employed as a carpenter and in 1926 as a Foreman, with Leonard Fisheries, Halifax, NS Canada.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RNCVR (With seniority dated November 19, 1915). He served in HMCS Rainbow. He served in HMCS Niobe. He was appointed as an Able Seaman RNCVR. He served in HMCS Niobe. (He was demobilized January 17, 1919).
