Biography
He was a ship builder at the time of his recruitment into the navy.

 

Military Service
In 1917 he was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RNCVR. In 1917 he served in HMS Vivid (Devonport). (He died of pneumonia at the Royal Navy Hospital East Stonehouse UK).
