Biography
He was the brother of G.J. Archbold and the son of G.T.A.S. Archbold. After his naval service he joined Canadian Pacific Airlines as Pilot. He worked with Canadian Airlines International as Chief Pilot DC-10 in Vancouver BC.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Naval Cadet RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1959). He served in the College Militaire Royal de St. Jean 1959. He served in the Royal Military College of Canada 1962. He served in RCAF Centralia for Flying Training Course 1963. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1964). He served in RCAF Centralia for Flying Training. He served in RCAF Portage for Flying Training Course. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1964). He was Awarded Wings 01/04/1965. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron for Tracker Conversion 1965. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VS-880 Squadron 1965. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN. (He resigned 01/07/1967.)
