He worked as a school teacher until his retirement. In 1950 he went to Ethiopia under contract to set up a teaching program. He returned to Canada, teaching at Sydenham High School. |
Military Service |

In 1942 he serjved in the Royal Canadian Air Force. In 1943 he served overseas in England for further training with Bomber Command. (He was demobilized) He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 07/01/1957). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 07/01/1957). He served in HMCS Cataraqui for VC-921 Reserve Squadron 1957. After VC 921 Squadron was paid off he continued serving, taking navigation course at HMCS Naden. He served on the East coast during the summer. In 1961 he transferred to the ReserveSupplementary List due to teaching position. (He was released 1961.) |
