Biography
He was the son of Jacob Arnet. He was a commercial fisherman.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a Coxswain RCNR (Fishermen's Reserve Section) RCNR (With seniority dated 27/09/1938). (Mobilized for World War Two service). He served in HMCS Van Isle (In command) 1941. He was appointed as a Skipper Coxswain RCNR (Fishermen's Reserve Section) (With seniority dated 01/01/1943). He served in HMCS Givenchy (II) for HMCS Ehkholi (In command) 1943. He was appointed as a Chief Skipper RCNR 1943. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 10/02/1944). In 1944 he served in HMCS Kuitan. (He was demobilized.)
