Biography
After his naval service he was the Director of Physical Plant at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax NS 1971-85. He retired again in 1985.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCN (With seniority dated 01/10/1943). He was appointed as a Able Seaman (Torpedoman) (With seniority dated 01/10/1945). He served in HMCS Belleville. He served in HMCS Runnymede. He served in HMCS Miramichi, Demobilized, Graduated in Engineering from Nova Scotia Technical College Halifax 1949, (Re-joined RCN 01/06/1949). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (L) RCN 01/06/1949. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Officers Divisional Course 1949. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Detection Officer (Electrical) Course 1949. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (L) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1949), HM Underwater Detection Establishment Portland Dorset UK 1950-51. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (L) RCN (With seniority dated 01/04/1949). He served in NHQ on Staff of Electrical Engineer-in-Chief 1951. He served in USNAS Norfolk 1953, USN Air Development Centre Johnsville PA 1953. He served in USNAS Patuxent River for Air Electrical Course 1954. He served in HMCS Shearwater as Station Air Electronics Officer 1954. He served in HMCS Shearwater for HS-50 as Electical Officer 1955. He served in HMCS Shearwater for Duty With VS-881 Squadron as Electrical Officer 1956. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (L) RCN 01/04/1957. He served in HMCS Shearwater as Deputy Electrical Officer 1958. He served in HMCS Chaudiere (II) as Electrical Officer 1959, Port Edward Naval Base Sydney NS as Manager Electrical Engineering 1961. He served in HMCS Shearwater as Planning Officer Aircraft Maintenance 1964, USN Air Development Centre Johnsville PA as Canadian Forces Liaison Officer 1966, CFB Shearwater as General Support Equipment Officer 1969. (He was retired 1971. (He was qualified for air electrical duties.)
