He graduated from the University of Toronto.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCNVR 1943. In 1943 he served in HMCS York. (CFR) He was appointed as a Electrical Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/05/1944). In 1944 he served in HMCS Uganda. (He was demobilized.)
