Biography
He was appointed as Armament Supply Officer in the Dockyard 1921. He retired from civilian service in 1930.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Officer Cadet RN 1881. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RN (With seniority dated 01/10/1898). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Retired) RN c1912. He served as Inspecting Officer HM Coast Guard Sligo Ireland 1912, (Mobilized for World War One service). He was appointed as a Commander (Temp.) RN (With seniority dated 18/06/1914). He served in RN Barracks Chatham as Gunnery Officer-in-Charge 1914-1917. In 1917 he served in HMCS Niobe as Additional and for Duty with Captain of Patrols. (Transferred to RCN) 1917. He was appointed as a Commander RCN HMCS Niobe (In command) 1917. He served in HMCS Niobe For Miscellaneous and Special Service 1918, Halifax Dockyard 1919, He was qualified as a Gunnery Officer. He was appointed as a Captain (Retired) RCN 1920. (He was retired RCN 01/07/1920.)
