He practiced law with the law firm of Audette & Obrien 1931-39. He was awarded the Admiral's Medal in 1986. He was a public servant in the Department of External Affairs 1945-7. He was a Commissioner of the Canadian Maritime Commission 1947-53. He was a Member of the Commission of Inquiry into the RCN in 1949. He was the President Park Steamship Co. Ltd. 1954-9. He was a Member of the Court Martial Appeal Board 1951-59. He was he President First Assembly (London) of International Maritime Consultative Organization (United Nations) in 1959). |
