Biography
After his naval service he taught English at Ashbury College in Ottawa. Retired 1981.

He was appointed as a AC 2/c (Pilot Candidate) RCAF (With seniority dated 06/05/1943). He served in RCAF St. Catharines for Elementary Flying Training School. He served in RCAF Ottawa for Service Flying Training School. He was Awarded Wings, Sergent Pilot RCAF, Demobilized 01/01/1945, (Transferred to RNVR 1945), Petty Officer Pilot RNVR 1945. He served in H.M.S. Seaborne. He served in H.M.S. Macaw 1945. (CFR). A/Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR 01/09/1945, RAF Tern Hill. He served in RNAS Peplow for Advanced Instrument Flying Course 1945, (Transferred to RCNVR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/09/1945).
