Biography
Bill Clearihue reports that "He was a graduate of the Ontario Agricultural College in 1950. He joined Dow(Carling/O'Keefe) Brewery in Montreal eventually becoming their Brewmaster. Became Head Brewmaster and head of International Production for Stroh's in Detroit MI and retired when bought out by Schlitz in 1985. He was hired as Creemores's inaugural Brewmaster back in 1987 and developed that brand. After Creemore, he consulted for, started up any number of other micro-breweries in Canada/US/Europe and beyond. He is retired in Nanoose Bay, BC."
 
Military Service
Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCN(R) 1947. He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1948. In 1948 he served in HMCS Star (OAC Tender) for UNTD 1948. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) 1950. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 06/02/1952). (He was released.)
