Biography
After his naval service he worked in the Head Office of an insurance company in legal claims.

(Short Service Appointment 13/01/1954). He was appointed as a Midshipman (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 13/01/1954). He served in HMCS Cornwallis for #1 Junior Air Officer Basic Training Course 1954. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 25/01/1955). He served in HMCS Niagara for USN Pilot Training Course 1955. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 25/01/1956). He served in HMCS Shearwater for Duty With VU-32 Squadron 1956. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 09/09/1957). (Selected for permanent commission). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 09/09/1957). He served in HMCS Shearwater for VS-880 Squadron 1959. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VX-10 Squadron for Flight Evaluation 1961, VU-33 Squadron as Operations Officer 1965. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VS-880 Squadron 1966. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 01/07/1968). He served in VX-1 Squadron 1968. He served in NDHQ on Staff of Director Force Planning 1971. He served in CFB Moose Jaw for Canadian Forces Flying Instructor School 1975. He served in CFB Moose Jaw as Flying Instructor 1977. (He was retired 01/02/1980.
