He was appointed as a Naval Airman 2/c RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for Pilot Course #45. He served in USNAS Grosse Ile for Training. He served in USNAS Pensacola for Training. (CFR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. (Transferred to RCNVR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 12/04/1944). In 1944 he served with the Royal Navy. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR. He served in H.M.S. Indomitable for 857 Squadron 1944. |
