Biography
He served in the Marine Division of the RCMP before the Second World War.

He was appointed as a Temporary Chief Skipper RCN (With seniority dated 12/06/1917). He served in H.M.C. Drifter CD-7 (In command) 1917. He served in HMS Niobe as Additional 1918, (He was demobilized). He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNR (With seniority dated 08/09/1939). (Mobilized for World War Two service 08/09/1939).
