Biography
After his naval service he flew for Pacific Coastal Airways as pilot and dispatcher. Afterwards farmed in Saskatchewan for twelve years, flying for BC Government for two summers.

He served in the Royal Naval College Greenwich for EFTS at Gravesend. He served in RAF #1 FTS Netheravon. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (A) (SSA) RN (With seniority dated 01/07/1939).
