Military Service
He was appointed as a Temporary Sub-Lieutenant (A) RNVR. He served in USNAS Brunswick (Maine) for HMS Saker in 1841 RN Squadron 1944. (He was killed in a flying accident 24/03/1944 when his plane collided with other Corsair while in formation, near Waldoboro, Maine, USA.)
