Biography
At the time of his recruitment into the navy he was a Surveyor and Co/T Operator.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Wireless Telegraph Learner RNCVR (With seniority dated 01/03/1916). He was appointed as a Wireless Telegraph Operator (4th Class) RNCVR (With seniority dated 01/08/1917). In 1917-1918 he served in HMCS Rainbow for Wireless Telegraph Duty (West Coast) at Digby Island Radio Station. (He was demobilized.)
