Military Service
He served in the Canadian Expeditionary Force 1916. (Transferred to RNAS 15/09/1917) He was appointed as a Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS. He served in #2 Wing RNAS 1916. He served in #210 RAF Squadron 1918. He was serving with #3(N) Squadron/203 (RAF) Squadron.

Anecdotes
He was the brother of Flight Commander Louis Drummond Bawlf RNAS. He was killed in a flying accident on 21/04/1918 over the Western Front.
