Biography
He graduated from the University of Toronto as an Electrical Engineer in 1947 and subsequently earned the designation P. Eng. He joined Bell Canada where he spent his entire career in a variety of engineering positions in Ontario and Quebec. He retired from Bell Canada in 1978.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCNVR 1943. In 1943 he served in HMCS York for UNTD. He served in HMCS Prestonian. (He was demobilized). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (L) RCN(R) (with seniority dated 12/1954). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (L) RCN(R) (with seniority dated 12/1954). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (L) RCN(R). (He was released 1958).
