He was the son of H.O. Bell-Irving. After the war he worked in H. Bell-Irving and Company and became president when H.O. Bell-Irving died. |
Military Service |

He enlisted in 29th Battalion in France. Transferred from CEF to RFC, 29 Janaury 1916; became a wing instructor in gunnery with RFC, 14/09/1916. Had been appointed Flying Officer, 20 July 1916. He served as Commandant RAF Turnberry #2 School of Aerial Gunnery 01/1917. Relinquished commission 09/04/1919. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. |
