Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1952. In 1952 he served in HMCS Cabot for UNTD. (He was released.) (Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (SSA) RCN. He was appointed as Midshipman (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 13/01/1954). In 1954 he served in HMCS Cornwallis for Junior Aviation Officer Course. (He was released.)
