Military Service
He was appointed as a AC/2 RCAF, Flying Training. He was awarded wings. (CFR). He was appointed as a Pilot Officer RCAF, Released, (Transferred to RNVR). He was appointed as Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for Training. He served in RNAS Arbroath for 883 Squadron. (He was demobilized.) (Transferred to RCN(R))
