He was appointed as a AC 2/c (Pilot Candidate) RCAF. He served in the RCAF for Flying Training With RCAF. He was Awarded Wings. (CFR). He was appointed as a Pilot Officer RCAF. (He was released). (Transferred to RNVR), He was appointed as Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. (He was released,) (Transferred to RCN(R), (Short Service Appointment commencing 01/06/1947). He was appointed as Sub-Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1947). He served in HMCS Stadacona for #1 Training Air Group 1947. He was appointed as Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1948). He served in HMCS Stadacona for RCN Barracks Halifax in RCN Air Section (Dartmouth) 1948. (He died in a flying accident north of HMCS Shearwater 14/10/1948.)
