Military Service
He was appointed as a Mate RNCVR (With seniority dated 04/02/1915). He was appointed as Sub-Lieutenant RNCVR (With seniority dated 27/03/1916). In 1917 he served in HMCS Lady Evelyn (Auxiliary Patrol Ship) as First Lieutenant. He was appointed as Lieutenant RNCVR (With seniority dated 27/03/1918). (He was demobilized.) (He was qualified for Navigation Duties.)
