He was appointed as a Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St, Vincent for #40 Pilot Course. He served in #24 Elementary Flying Training Course. He served in #31 Service Flying Training Course. He served in RNAS Machrihanish for 772 RN Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Lee-on-Solent for 886 Squadron 1944. He served in H.M.S. Daedelus for 886 RN Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Henstridge for 886 RN Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Eglinton for 725 Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Dale for 748 Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Nowra for 723 Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Schofields for 723 RN Squadron 1946. (He was demobilized 1946.)
