Biography
After his naval service he worked in Civil Engineering and Town Planning.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an AID Inspector. He was appointed as a Naval Airman 2/c RNVR 1942. He served in RNAS Arbroath for Air Engineer Training Course 1942. (CFR). He was appointed as A/Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR (With seniority dated 23/03/1942). He served in HMS Seaborn for NAGS School Yarmouth. (Transferred to RCNVR 1944). He was appointed as Lieutenant (E) (A/E) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/07/1944). He served in NSHQ for Air Staff 1944. He served in HMCS Warrior 1945. (He was demobilized 1946). (He may have been the first Canadian to become a Naval Air Engineer Officer.)
