Biography
After his naval service he was the Military Sales Manager (Avionics Division) for Canadian Marconi Co. 1965-72. He joined the Public Service of Canada in Department of Industry Trade and Commerce as Commerce Officer 1972-79. He worked with Raytheon Canada Ltd. as their Ottawa Representative 1980-82.

He was appointed as a AC/2 RCAF (With seniority dated 11/02/1943). He served in RCAF Clinton for Radar Technician Course 1942. He was appointed as Leading Aircraftsman RCAF. He served in RAF on Loan from RCAF 1942. He served in RAF Alford 1942. He served in RAF Algeria 1942. He served in RAF Corsica 1944. He served in RAF Malta 1944. He served in RAF Italy 1945. (He was demobilized 1945.) (Transferred to RCN 19/03/1949). He was appointed as A/Sub-Lieutenant (L) RCN (With seniority dated 19/03/1949). He served in HMCS Donnacona for Course at McGill University 1949. He served in NHQ on Staff of Electrical Engineer-in-Chief 1949. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Electrical School 1949. He served in HMCS Niobe for Air Electrical and Air Radio Courses 1949. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Course at Electrical School 1950. He was appointed as Sub-Lieutenant (L) RCN (With seniority dated 30/11/1949). He was appointed as A/Lieutenant (L) RCN (With seniority dated 01/12/1949). He served in HMCS Shearwater as Air Electrical Officer 1950. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (L) RCN (Appointed 31/01/1951) (With seniority dated 01/12/1949). He served in HMCS Stadacona for Electrical School as Air Electrical Officer 1952. He served in HMCS Shearwater as Air Radio Officer 1953. He served in HMCS Magnificent as Ship's Air Electrical Officer and for VF-871 Squadron as Air Electrical Officer 1954. He served in HMCS Niagara on Staff of Naval Member Canadian Joint Staff Washington 1955. He was appointed as Lieutenant-Commander (L) RCN (With seniority dated 01/12/1956). He served in HMCS Niagara on Staff of Naval Member Canadian Joint Staff Washington as Deputy Electrical Officer 1956. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VX-10 Squadron as Project Electrical Officer 1958. He served in HMCS Bytown for NHQ on Staff of Assistant Electrical Engineer-in-Chief (Air) 1960. He served in NHQ on Staff of Director of Avionics 1960. (He retired on 23/07/1965). (He was qualified for air electrical duties.)
