Biography
He is a 1961 graduate of the University of Alberta. He received his postgraduate training in general and plastic surgery at the University of Toronto, and spent a year in research with W. K. Lindsay at the Hospital for Sick Children. Afterwards he studied at Johns Hopkins and Stanford Universities. He returned to Calgary to take up an appointment at the Foothills Hospital where he is currently Clinical Professor of Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery. He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (MED) (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 02/01/1958). He served in HMCS Nonsuch for UNTD 1957-1959. (He was released.)
