He was living in Windsor ON at the time of his recruitment into the navy.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 1959). In 1959 he served in HMCS Hunter for UNTD. (He was released.) (Transferred to RCN). He was appointed as a Surgeon Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1967). (He was released.)
