Biography
He emigrated to Canada in 1951. He worked with the International Air Transport Association in Montreal PQ.
 
Military Service
He served in the 13th Battalion of the Middlesex Regiment 1942-43. (He transferred to RAF on 29/03/1943). He was appointed as a AC 2/c RAF (With seniority dated 29/03/1943). He served in RAF Scarborough for #10 ITW, RAF Brough for #4 EFTS. He served in RCAF Neepawa ON for #35 EFTS 1943. He served in RCAF MacLeaod AB for #7 SFTS 1944. He was Awarded Wings 04/10/1944. (CFR). Pilot Officer RAF 06/10/1944, RAF Fargo for Glider Pilot Regiment Depot 1945, (Transferred to RNVR). He was appointed as Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. Macaw 1945, #9 AFU 1945. He served in RNAS Hinstock for Instrument Course 1945. He served in RNAS Eglinton for 1837 RN Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Nutts Corner for 1837 RN Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Belfast 1946. He served in RNAS Stretton for #2 Ferrypool 1946, Demobilized. Afterwards he worked with Lambert Brothers (Aviation) Ltd. 1947-51. (Transferred to RAFVR 01/09/1947), Flying Officer RAFVR 01/09/1947, RAF Panshanger for #1 RFS 1947. He resigned on 01/07/1951. He joined the RCAF Reserve 1954-55.
