Biography
After his naval service he studied Microbiology at the Ontario Agricultural College, Guelph ON. He joined Canadian Brweries Ltd. (later Carling O'Keefe Breweries) in 1948. He was appointed as Head Brewer at the Hamilton plant and later at the toronto and Montreal plants. He was promoted to Director of Brewing Services for Carling O'Keefe Breweries in 1954.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (UNTD) RCN(R) 1943. (He was one of the original first intake of UNTDs from the Ontario Agricultural College in 1943). He served in HMCS Star for UNTD 1943. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He served in HMCS Lanark. (He was demobilized.)
