Biography
After his naval service he became Operations Manager and Acting Manager of Halifax International Airport. Transferred to Windsor International Airport as Manager for Canada Department of Transport.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR 1943. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for Pilot Course #51 1943. He served in USNAS Grosse Isle for Flying Training. He served in USNAS Pensacola for Flying Training. He served in USNAS Jacksonville for Flying Training. He was appointed as Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RCNR. He was Awarded Wings 1944. He served in USN Roosevelt Field for RN Ferry Flight 1944. (Transferred to RCNVR 01/06/1945). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/06/1945). He was appointed as Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR 09/09/1945). He served in HMCS Niobe for RN Twin Conversion Course and FRU Training 1946. He served in RCAF Trenton for Instrument Rating Course 1946, (Short Service Appointment commenced 30/04/1947). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 09/09/1945)). He served in NHQ on Staff of Directorate of Naval Aviation as Staff Officer (Safety Equipment) 1948, Carrier Air Group as Pilot and Squadron and Group Supply Officer 1948). He served in NHQ For Special Duty on Course at RCAF Station Centralia 1953. He was appointed as Lieutenant-Commander (P) RCN 09/09/1953. He served in HMCS Shearwater as Additional for Air Traffic Control Duties 1953. (He was retired.)
