Biography
He trained with British Airways Ltd. 1938-39. After his naval service he worked as Operations Officer in British Airways Ltd.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Air Fitter RN (With seniority dated 01/09/1939). He served in H.M.S. Malaya for 700 RN Squadron 1940. (CFR 1941). He was appointed as Sub-Lieutenant (SB) (Temp.) RNVR 1941. He served in RNAS Lee-on-Solent on Staff 1941. He served in #28 Pilot Training Course. He served in #14 Elementary Flying Training Course. He served in #31 Service Flying Training Course. He served in H.M.S. Castle for 700 RN Squadron 1942. He served in H.M.S. Attacker for 838 RN Squadron. He served in RNAS Arbroath for 778 RN Squadron 1943. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in RNAS Dundee as Senior Pilot 1944. He served in RNAS Lee-on-Solent for General Duties, 2nd Tactical Air Force as Officer-in-Charge Attached Flight 1944-45. He served in RNAS Worthy Down for Air Maintenance Test Flying Course. (He was demobilized.)
