Military Service
He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS (With seniority dated 1915). He was appointed as Flight Sub-Lieutenant RNAS. He was serving in H.M.S. Killingholme (an old paddle steamer converted to an aircraft carrier).
