Biography
After his naval service he joined Dartmouth Vocational School as Math & Science teacher 1974. (He retired in 1990.)
 
Military Service
(Short Service Appointment 25/09/1950). He was appointed as a Midshipman (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 25/09/1950). He served in HMCS Bytown 1950. He served in HMCS Ontario for Sea Training 1950. He served in HMCS Beacon Hill for Sea Training. He served in HMCS Magnificent for Sea Training, RN for #8 Observer's Course. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (O) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 12/05/1952). He served in HMCS Magnificent for VS-881 Squadron 1952. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VS-880 Squadron 1952. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (O) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 12/05/1953). (Selected for permanent commission). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (O) RCN (With seniority dated 12/05/1954). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 12/05/1962). He served in HMCS Bonaventure as Air Operations Officer 1963, Officer-in-Charge Recruiting Centre HMCS Sault Ste. Marie 1965. He served in CFB Shearwater for HS-50 Squadron as TACO 1967. He served in HMCS Bonaventure as Officer-in-Charge Helicopter Detachment 1968.
