Biography
After his naval service he became Curator at the Naval Military Establishments at Penetanguishene ON 1974. In 1979 he became Chief Curator at the Fort York Military Fort in Toronto. He retired again in 1985.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a AC2 RCAF (With seniority dated 16/12/1942). He served in RCAF Pendleton for Flying Training 1943. He was appointed as a Sergeant Pilot RCAF 1944. He served in RCAF Centralia 1944. (Transferred to RNVR 01/06/1945). He was appointed as a Petty Officer Pilot RNVR (With seniority dated 01/06/1945). He served in #5 AFU Ternhill 1945. He served in RNAS Hinstock 1945. (Transferred to RCNVR 29/09/1945), (CFR 1946). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCNVR. He served in RNAS Burscough for 825 RN Squadron 1945. He served in HMCS Warrior for 825 RN Squadron 1945, (Short Service Appointment commencing 30/04/1947). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/12/1946). He served in RNAS Eglinton 1947. He served in HMCS Magnificent for 19 Carrier Air Group as pilot in 825 Squadron 1948. (Selected for permanent commission). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (P) RCN (With seniority dated 01/12/1954). He served in NHQ for Naval Intelligence Staff 1954, RAF Watton for 751 RN Squadron 1956. He served in HMCS Niobe for Special Duty With 751 Squadron 1956. He served in HMCS Shearwater as Senior Air Traffic Control Officer 1958, Canadian Joint Air Training Centre Rivers 1960. He served in HMCS Naden for VU-33 Squadron as Commanding Officer 1966. He served in HMCS York for Duty at Canadian Forces Staff College as Staff Officer 1967. (He was retired 19/05/1972.)
