Biography
After his naval service he flew for Canadian Breweries. Afterwards worked for World Wide Airlines on the Cuba run. He worked flying out of Grand Falls NB for seven years. Then he ran an agricultural operation growing corn. Afterwards he joined Bradley Air Services in 1970. In 1981 he joined Transport Canada to retirement in 1989.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCN 1949. He served in HMCS Cornwallis for New Entry Training 1949. He served in HMCS Shearwater for School of Naval Aircraft Maintenance 1950. (CFR). He was appointed as a Midshipman (SSA) RCN. He served in HMCS Ontario for Training. He served in RCAF Centralia for Flying Training. He served in RCAF MacDonald for Flying Training. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN. He served in RNAS Milltown for OTU. He served in RNAS Culdrose. He served in H.M.S. Ocean for Carrier Qualification. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VF-870 Squadron 1952. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VU-32 Sqadron. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN. He served in HMCS Shearwater For Duty With VX-10 Squadron 1956. (He was released 1958.)
