Biography
He was working in the civil service prior to 1939. After his naval service he worked as a civil servant in HMC Dockyard Halifax from 1946 to 1984.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a Paymaster Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/08/1942). He served in the Halifax Division RCNVR 1942. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SB) (Temp.) RCNVR 1942. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Ship Maintenance Section 1942. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (SB) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/08/1943). In 1944 he served in HMCS Stadacona. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Release 1946. (He was demobilized 12/07/1946.) He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (SB) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/08/1951 on Retired List.)
