Biography
After his naval service he went into advertising retiring again in 1994.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a AC 2/c (Pilot Candidate) RCAF (With seniority dated 19/12/1942). He served in RCAF Toronto 1943. He was appointed as a LAC RCAF (With seniority dated 25/07/1943). He served in RCAF Davidson for #23 Elementary Flying Training School 1943. He served in RCAF Souris for #17 Service Flying Training School 1943. He was Awarded Wings 12/02/1944. (CFR). He was appointed as a Pilot Officer RCAF 12/02/1944. He served in RCAF Pearce for #2 Flying Instructor School 1944. He served in RCAF Deseronto for #1 Instrument Flying Training School 1944. #10 Service Flying Training School as Instructor 1944. He was appointed as a Flying Officer RCAF (With seniority dated 12/08/1944). (He was released 30/03/1945). (Transferred to RNVR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR 1945. He was appointed as a MAJ (Reserve) 1981. He served in the 78th Fraser Highlanders as Commanding Officer 1981. (He was retired 1982.) He was appointed as an Honorary Colonel 78th Fraser Highlanders 1982-84.
