He was employed in the oil business while in Calgary AB.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a AC/2 RAF, (Attached to RCAF), (Transferred to RCNR), He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (O) RCN(R). He served in HMCS Tecumseh for VC-924 Reserve Squadron 1955. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (O) RCN(R), (Transferred to RCN by Short Service Appointment 25/05/1956). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (O) (SSA) RCN. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (O) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 21/02/1957). He served in HMCS Shearwater For Duty With VS-880 Squadron 1956. He served in RNAS Eglinton. He served in HMCS Bonaventure for Operations 1957. He served in HMCS Ottawa 1958. He served in HMCS Huron 1959. (He was released.)
