He was qualified as a Chiropractor. He was elected as a Progressive Conservative Member of Parliament for Kootenay West in 1974.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1947. In 1947 he served in HMCS Malahat for UNTD. (He was released.)
