Bill Clearihue reports that "He appears in the Navy Lists, 1952 & 1953 as a UNTD, Seniority Apr 24, 1952. His school was Royal Roads but for pay purposes at summer training, he was declared as a MALAHAT UNTD. Royal Roads Cadets weren’t paid, in fact they paid to be there. was issued U-9060 on April 27, 1951. He also had his RR Cadet Number 3265 and was issued his O-8968 upon Graduation."
