Biography
He was a graduate of the Wright Flying School in Dayton OH USA and in Augusta, Georgia and was awarded ACA Certificate #400 dated 02/02/1916.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS (With seniority dated 12/02/1916). He was appointed as a Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS 1916. He served in RNAS Felixstowe 1916. He was appointed as a Flight Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS. He served in RNAS Westgate 1917. Missing (prisoner of the Turks), 28/01/1918 following a night raid on Goeben, Dardenelles (seaplane forced down near Nagara). He was a Prisoner of War on 28/01/1918. He was repatriated, 27/12/1918.
