Biography
After his naval service he was the President of P.R. Brown & Son (real estate and insurance agents) in Victoria BC.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Able-Seaman RNCVR. (CFR) He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RNCVR (With seniority dated 04/08/1914). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RNCVR (With seniority dated 31/10/1917). He served in HMCS Shearwater II (For No.1 Company RNCVR) 1914. He served in HMCS Hochelaga (Auxiliary Patrol Ship) 1917. He served in HMCS Rainbow as Additional 1918. He served in HMCS Rainbow (Additional) 1918. (He was demobilized.)
