Biography
After his naval service he attended the University of Toronto (Aeronautical Engineering) 1949,
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Airframe Mechanic RCAF 1940-44. He served as Inspector Aircraft Overhaul (Mosquito Production Forgings at Aluminum Co. Kingston ON), He was appointed as a Flight Sergeant RCAF. He served in RCAF Toronto for Pilot Training (Hunt Club I.T.S.). He served in Elementary Flight Training RCAF Davidson SK. He served in SFTS Course #104 RCAF Saskatoon. He served in RCAF Toronto for Reserve Manning Depot 1944. (CFR). He was appointed as a Pilot Officer RCAF, (Transferred to RNVR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in RNAS Bootle, (He was demobilized). (Transferred to RCN). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (E) (A/E) (P) RCN (With seniority dated 01/01/1947). He served in HMCS Shearwater 1949. He served in HMCS Niobe 1950. He served in HMCS Ontario for Engineroom Training 1953. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (E) (A/E) RCN (With seniority dated 01/01/1955). He served in HMCS Cayuga as Engineer Officer 1957. He served in HMCS Shearwater for HS-50 Squadron as Air Engineer Officer 1957. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Staff of Flag Officer Atlantic Coast as Staff Officer (Air Engineering). He served in HMCS Nootka as Engineering Officer. He served in RCAF staff College 1962. He served in NHQ for Directorate of Air Engineering as Staff Officer (Aviation Facilities) 1963. (He was retired 28/02/1966.)
