He attended the University of Toronto and the University of Manitoba. After his war service he was a Chartered Accountant with Moore Co. in Toronto 1920-39. After his World War Two service he worked with the Department of Veterans Affairs as an Administrator. |

He served in the Western University Battalion. (Transferred to RNAS). He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS (With seniority dated 1916). He was appointed as a Flight Sub-Lieutenant RNAS. He served in Vandome UK for Training. He served in #7 (Naval) Squadron. He was appointed as a Flight Commander (RNAS), He was wounded in an aeroplane crash and invalided home. (He was demobilized.) He was appointed as a Major serving with the Canadian Scottish Regiment for Second World War service 1939-45. (He was demobilized.) |
