Biography
Before World War Two he was undertaking an engineering degree and an engineering apprenticeship with Blackburn Aircraft Dunbarton. After his naval service he joined De Havilland Engine Co. 1948-9. Afterwards he worked with Pilkington Brothers Glass Co. 1949-55. He was employed with Ferrati Electric Toronto 1955-6. He retired on 01/08/1985.

He was appointed as a Naval Airman 2/c RNVR (With seniority dated 01/08/1940). He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #18 Pilot Course 1940. He was appointed as a Leading Naval Airman RNVR. He served in RAF Luton for No.24 Elementary Flying Training Course 1940. He served in RAF Netheravon for No.1 Service Flying Training School for Intermediate and Advanced Flying Training 1941. (CFR). He was appointed as a Temporary A/Sub-Lieutenant (A) RNVR (With seniority dated 01/07/1941). He served in H.M.S. Heron for OTU in 760 RN Squadron 1941. He served in H.M.S. Vulture 1941.
